R.I.P. ROBERT PALMER
Robert Palmer was a singer, songwriter, and musician who was born in Yorkshire, England on January 19th, 1949. Some of his most prominent singles included hits like “Addicted to Love”, “Simply Irresistible”, “I Didn’t Mean to Turn You On”, and today’s song choice (that can be listened to by clicking on the provided link).
Throughout his career, he received many accolades, including two Grammy Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award (for “Best Male Video”).
On this very day, September 26th 2003, Robert Allen Palmer died from a heart attack (at 54 years of age).
